NOTIFICATION
The 21st June, 2018
S.R.O. No.246/2018— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Odisha hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Odisha Subordinate Education (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1993, namely :—
1. Short title and Commencement :– (a) These rules may be called the Odisha Subordinate Education (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules,2018.
(b) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in Odisha Gazette.
2. In the Odisha Subordinate Education (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules,1993 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) for clause (hh), of rule 2, the following clause shall be substituted namely :—
" (hh) ' Taken over High Schools' means Private and transferred Urban Local Bodies (ULB) High Schools transferred or taken over by Government from time to time."
3. In the said rules, in rule 4, in clause (a), sub-clause (ii), after the second proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:—
" Provided also that nothing in this clause shall apply to the persons included in the service by way of merger of equivalent cadre of taken over High Schools as decided by Government from time to time." 2 "Provided also that the inter-se-seniority of the persons included in the service by way of merger of other equivalent cadre of taken over ULB High Schools shall be determined by taking into account the date of appointment of the persons or the date of recognition of the taken over ULB High Schools which ever is later vis-a- vis, the date of appointment of Trained Graduate teachers recruited under sub-clause (i) of clause(a) of rule 4.".
