No.31682–HOME-HC-CRTN2-0031/2015/HS.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act-II of 1974) and all other powers under the said Act enabling the State Government in this regard and on the recommendations of and in consultation with the High Court of Orissa, the State Government, do hereby establish courts of Judicial Magistrate of the First Class and number of such Courts as mentioned in Column-4 of the schedule in addition to the existing number of such Courts in the respective judgeship at the places mentioned in Column-2 of the schedule in the local limits of jurisdiction mentioned in the Column-3 of the schedule for the purpose of posting of the Officers towards Leave Reserve and Leave Training Vacancy created vide Law Department Letter No. 3508/L., dated the 22nd April, 2016 with effect from the date the said Courts function.
