NOTIFICATION

No.14167–WCD-CW-SCHM-0042/2015/WCD&MS.— In pursuance of this Department Notification No.8415, dated the 2nd June, 2016 relating to constitution of the additional Child Welfare Committee of Khurda District and in consonance with the provisions contained under section 27 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 [hereinafter referred to as "the Act"] read with rule 15 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Model Rules, 2016, additional Child Welfare Committee, Khurda which shall function at Bhubaneswar will exercise the powers and functions conferred under the said Act over the territorial area of Bhubaneswar Tahasil.
And Child Welfare Committee, Khurda which shall function at Khurda will exercise the powers and functions conferred under the said Act over the territorial area of Khurda District excluding Bhubaneswar Tahasil.
