No. 6812–VIII-Estt.-SM-168/2016(Pt)/SM.–— Whereas, a State Level Committee has been constituted vide Steel & Mines Department, Government of Odisha Notification No. 3546, dated the 4th May, 2018 to oversee the implementation of various recommendations of NEERI report on the carrying capacity study for iron/ manganese mining.
Whereas, the State Level Committee in its meeting held on 21st June, 2018 has inter alia recommended for constituting a Sub-committee to take forward the implementation of NEERI report.
Now, therefore the State Government after careful consideration have been pleased to constitute a Sub-Committee under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Forest & Environment Department consisting of the following members to take forward the implementation of NEERI report.

10 Director, NEERI, Nagpur Member 11 Director Mines, Odisha
Member Convener
The Sub-committee shall assist the State Level Monitoring Committee in implementation of the recommendations of NEERI report. The Sub-committee may meet once in two months.
