NOTIFICATION
The 14th December, 2018
No. 22527–DAFE-HFE-FE-0032/2017/A&FE.— In pursuance of rule-5(2) (a) of the Odisha Horticulture Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules,2014, the State Government do hereby appoint the following 16 candidates (Special drive recruitment for ST) to the post of Assistant Horticulture Officer(Group-B) in Horticulture Service who have been selected by the Odisha Public Service Commission, Cuttack (vide OPSC letter No.8294/PSC., dated the 9th November, 2018) during the year 2018 on ad hoc basis in the Scale of Pay of Rs.44,900/- in the Level-10 of Cell-I of Pay Matrix under Odisha Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2017 with D.A. and other allowances as admissible to Govt. servants from time to time w.e.f. the date he/she actually reports for duty.
They shall be on probation for a period of two years from the date of joining into the service and their services are subject to the following terms and conditions as guided under Service Rules.
1. The appointments are purely temporary and terminable at any time without prior notice and assigning any reason thereof.
2. Their appointment is subject to verification of antecedent, medical fitness and verification of original certificates in cases where it has not been done.
3. Adverse report on character and antecedents, if received, his/her services shall be terminated forthwith in accordance with the provisions laid down in sub- clause (ii) of clause (h) of Explanation under rule 13 of the Odisha Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1962, reinforced in G.A. Department Resolution No.34438/Gen., dated the 20th November,1999.
2On being appointed as Assistant Horticulture Officers, they are posted in the offices as mentioned against their names.
