RESOLUTION
The 16th July, 2019
Subject: Additional compensatory attempt as a last chance to appear the Odisha
Civil Services, Combined Competitive Recruitment Examinations, 2019.
On account of delay in conducting Odisha Civil Services, Combined Competitive Recruitment Examinations (CCRE) in each year during the period 2011-2014 and consequent upon introduction of U.P.S.C. pattern in the O.C.S. Examination, it has been decided by the Government in the past to allow additional compensatory attempts to appear in the O.C.S.E., 2016, O.C.S.E., 2017 & O.C.S.E., 2018 irrespective of maximum age limit of the candidates. In spite of that, there are pressing demands from some O.C.S. Examination aspirants to allow them additional chances to appear in the O.C.S.E., 2019 irrespective of their maximum age limit.
After careful consideration, it has been decided by the Government that notwithstanding
This shall come into force with immediate effect. The provisions of the O.C.S. (CCRE) Rules, 1991 are being amended to the above extent separately.
ORDER
Ordered that the Resolution be published in the Extraordinary Gazette for general information and copies be forwarded to all Departments, all Heads of Departments and all Collectors for information.
