NOTIFICATION
The 6th August, 2019
No11645‒09681700112019― In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 10 of National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013, Government of Odisha, after careful consideration, have been pleased to approve 05 (five) more auto-inclusion criteria in addition to the existing 06 (six) auto-inclusion criteria and modification in 9th exclusion criteria notified earlier, for identification of Priority Households and Antyodaya Anna Yojana households, to be covered under Targeted Public Distribution System under the Act, for greater interest of public:―
1. New 05 (five) auto-inclusion criteria under NFSA, 2013 :
(a) Households with old persons (aged 60 or above) with no regular support and no assured means of subsistence;
(b) Households where due to old age, lack of physical or mental fitness, social customs, need to care for disable or other persons, no adult member is available to engage in gainful employment outside the house;
(c) Households dependent on daily wage labour;
(d) Internally displaced persons due to various projects;
(e) Households having a person suffering from leprosy/HIV/any other critical diseases.
2. Modification in 9th exclusion criteria under NFSA, 2013
9th exclusion criteria notified earlier which read as:
"the households with three or more rooms with pucca walls and pucca roof"2 "Provided that, the houses of such households are not constructed under the Indira Awas Yojana or Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana or Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana" is modified as:
"the households with three or more rooms with pucca walls and pucca roof" "Provided that, the houses of such households are not constructed under the Indira Awas Yojana or Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana or Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana or Nirman Shramik Yojana or Rehabilitation & Reconstruction (RR) Projects of Government".
