NOTIFICATION

Subject : Constitution of a High Level Committee on auction of Specified
Minor Mineral Concessions.
S.R.O.No. 313/2019―The Odisha Specified Minor Minerals Auction Rules, 2019 have been notified and published in the Odisha Gazette vide S.R.O. No.215/2019, dated the 27th June, 2019 laying down the procedure and detailed modalities for conduct of auction of mineral concessions of the specified minor minerals.
These Rules, 2019 read with Odisha Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2016 provide for e-auction process for grant of Prospecting License-cum-Mining Leases (PL-cum-ML) and also Mining Leases (ML) by utilizing an online electronic auction platform which will bring more transparency in the grant of specified minor mineral concessions like major minerals.
In order to streamline the auction of Specified Minor Minerals, a High Level Committee on auction of these mineral concessions is constituted comprising of the followings:―

minor mineral concessions, namely:―
1. Monitoring the preparatory work relating to auction of specified minor minerals including conduct of DGPS Survey and GR preparation.
2. Suggesting terms and conditions of the NIT besides reserve price; cost of tender documents and other related aspects/issues that are or may be required for smooth conduct of e-auction.
