No.24020-HFW-SCH-MISC-0016-2019/H.—A State Level Surveillance Committee for monitoring, taking policy and strategic decisions of IDSP Programme at State Level is hereby constituted under the chairmanship of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, H & FW Deptt. with following members.
1. Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Govt., H. & F.W. Deptt. - Chairman 2. Special Secretary (PH) to Govt., H. & F.W. Deptt. - Co-Chairman 3. DPH, Odisha, Bhubaneswar - Member 4. DHS, Odisha, Bhubaneswar - Member 5. DMET, Odisha, Bhubaneswar - Member 6. State Surveillance Officer - Member Secretary 7. Programme Managers of TB, Malaria, Polio, HIV - Member 8. Representative from Forest & Env. Deptt. - Member 9. Representative from Home Deptt. - Member 10. Head of the State Public Health Laboratory - Member 11. Representative of the State Unit of the
Indian Medical Association - Member 12. Co-ordinating member from State Medical Colleges
Surveillance team - Member 13. One Representative from the NGOs working for Public Health - Member 14. Representative from F & ARD Deptt. - Member 2 Functions of State Surveillance Committees : (i) To oversee all the surveillance activities in the State and be administratively responsible for programme activities in the State.
(ii) Coordinating with other departments during large-scale epidemics.
