NOTIFICATION
The 12th May 2023
No. 9883—FE-ENV2-ENV-0011/2017-FE&CC.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) and (7) of Section 28 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and in supersession of the notification of the Government of Odisha in the Forest & Environment Department No. 13578–Env-I-20/2002-F&E, dated the 14th August, 2003, No.10684—Env-I-7/2004 (Pt.-III)-F&E, dated the 17th June 2005, No. 21218—ENV-II-17/2016-F&E, dated the 17th November 2016 and No. 22403—ENV-II-35/2019-F&E, dated the 19th November 2019 the State Government do hereby constitute the Appellate Authority to hear appeals preferred against any order made by the State Pollution Control Board, Odisha under the said Act, with following members namely:—
1. Hon'ble Justice Dr. B.R. Sarangi,

2. Dr. Basanta Kumar Sahu,

Former Addl. Director of Agriculture & former
Senior Scientist in F.&E. Department,
Plot No. 10, Kedargouri Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
3. Dr. Pratap Kumar Mohanty,
. . Member
Former Professor, Marine Science Department,
Berhampur University, Plot No. 318 B, Ghatikia,
Kalinga Nagar 8, Bhubaneswar-751029.
The tenure of the Appellate Authority shall be 3 (three) years.
