No. 1602—PT2-HOME-CHR-MISC-0478/2018-CP&M.–In supersession of Home Department Notification No. 49938-CP&M., dated the 22nd December 2023 and in pursuance to Letter No. III-4-NS-Coord-2023/1042-1077, dated the 14th November 2023, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India regarding inclusion of representative of MoSJ&E under Narco Co-ordination (NCORD) Mechanism, State Government do hereby reconstitute District Level Committee with following members :—
1. District Magistrate . . Chairperson 2. Superintendent of Police . . Member-Convenor 3. Representative of State Deptts.–Education/Health/Social Justice . . Member 4. Representative of State Deptts.–Forest and Agriculture . . Member 5. Jurisdictional AC/DC of Customs/Central GST . . Member 6. Representative of Indian Coast Guard (in Coastal Districts) . . Member 7. SDM of affected areas . . Member 8. District Drugs Inspector . . Member 9. Representative of NCB . . Member 10. Representative of Port Authorities (in Coastal Districts) . . Member 11. Representative of MHA (Intelligence Bureau) . . Member 12. Representative of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment . . Co-opted Member 13. Representative of State AIDS Control Societies (SACS) . . Co-opted Member
The Committee may co-opt the representative of the Department/Organization concerned as Member in the said Committee, based on their requirement. They could also be based on requirements from time to time invite such representative as "Special Invitee". The Committee would meet every quarter.
