NOTIFICATION

No. 351—IND-HI2-POL-0013/2023-I.—The Industrial Policy Resolution 2022 (IPR-2022) has been notified vide Resolution No. 12300-I., dated the 30th November 2022 with the vision to transform Odisha into a modern & advanced industrial State and with the prime objective of accelerating broad-based and regionally balanced industrial growth, generating large scale employment opportunities and making Odisha a preferred investment destination.
The Section 4.2xiii (a) of IPR 2022 provides for considering non-mineral based new industrial units in notified area in the Biju Economic Corridor as special category of industries equivalent to 'Thrust Sector'.
Accordingly, the following industrial areas in the Biju Economic Corridor are notified for the purpose of giving effect to the above provision of IPR 2022 in the first phase :—

ORDER—Ordered that the Resolution be published in the extraordinary issue of the Odisha Gazette and copies of the Resolution be forwarded to all Departments, all Heads of Departments and Accountant-General, Odisha.
