NOTIFICATION
The 28th November 2024
NO. 23162—FE-ENV2-ENV-0011/2017-FE&CC.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 31 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and in suppression of this Department Notification No.13571-Env-I-20/2002-F&E, dated the 14th August 2003; No.10660-Env-I-7/2004 (Pt.-III)-F&E., dated the 17th June 2005;No. 21224-ENV-II-17/2016- F&E, dated the 17th November 2016; No. 22397-ENV-II-35/2019-F&E, dated the 19th November 2019 along with partial modification to the Notification No. 9877-FE-ENV2-ENV-0011/2017-FE&CC, dated the 12 May 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Hon'ble Shri Justice S.K. Sahoo, Judge of the Orissa High Court, Cuttack as the Chairman of the Appellate Authority pursuant to sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 31 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act,1981, in place of Hon'ble Dr. Justice B. R. Sarangi, who has retired from his position as Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court.
Consequently, the composition of the Appellate Authority is hereby amended to the following effect, who will hear appeals against any orders issued by the State Pollution Control Board, Odisha under this Act :—

The tenure of the Appellate Authority is till the 12th May 2026 in continuation of the earlier Notification No. 9877-FE-ENV2-ENV-0011-2017/FE&CC, dated the 12 May 2023 i.e. completion of tenure of 3 years.
