NOTIFICATION

The 1st January 2025

S.R.O. No. 10/2025—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Odisha Forest Act, 1972 (Odisha Act 14 of 1972), the State Government do hereby declare that the following land situated in Village San Rengalbeda under Lahunipara Tahasil of Sundargarh District mutated and transferred in favour of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Dapartment for raising Compensatory Afforestation thereon against the proposed diversion of 67.352 ha of forest land for Iron & Manganese Ore Mining in Village Raikela, Bahamba & Tensa under Bonai Subdivision in Sundargarh District, Odisha in favour of Anil Kumar Sharma Power of Attomey of Late Chandi Prasad Sharma vide in-principle approval of Government of India, MoEF&CC, FC Division, New Delhi communicated in Letter No. F No. 8-25/2022-FC, dated the 4th December 2023 under Section 2 (ii) of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, the limits of which are specified below and the area of which is 68.052 ha (168.160 Ac) shall be a Protected Forest with effect from the date of issue of the Notification and shall be known as "San Rengalbeda Protected Forest'' :—
