No. 707—LESI-LL1-IIM1-0002/2025-LESI.—In exercise of the powers confered under Rule 17 of Odisha Labour Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2019, Government after careful consideration and in consultation with the Odisha Public Service Commission have been pleased to relax the provision of residency period of 5 (five) years under Rule 7(2) of the Odisha Labour Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2019 to 3(three) years in the rank of District Labour Officer to be eligible for promotion to the rank of Divisional Labour Commissioner on one- time basis for the Selection Committee Meeting to be convened for the year 2025 to fill up the posts of Divisional Labour Commisisoner in the interest of public service.
