NOTIFICATION
The 15th February 2025
SUBJECT—Constitution of Governing Body in respect of Government Polytechnic, Darlipalli, Sundargarh.
No. 1000—SDTE-PDE-II-Poly-0035/2024-SDTE—In accordance with the provisions laid down in the AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2024-25 to 2026-27 at Annexure-17, Government after careful consideration, have been pleased to constitute the Governing Body in respect of Government Polytechnic, Darlipalli, Sundargarh in the following manner for smooth functioning of the Institute : —
1. Collector & District Magistrate, Sundargarh as Chairman
2. Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Darlipalli, Sudargarh as Member-Secretary
3. District Employment Officer, Rourkela, Sundargarh
4. Executive Engineer (R&B)/ RW of the concerned Division of Sundargarh District where the Institution is located.
5. Executive Engineer, PH/ RWSS Division, Sundargarh District where the Institution is located.
6. Executive Engineer, concerned Electric Power and Supply Authority, Sundargarh District where the Institution is located.
7. Vice-Chairman, SCTE&VT, Bhubaneswar or his representative as Nominee of the Affiliating Body.
8. DTE&T or his representative as Nominee of the State Govt. (Ex Officio)
9. NTPC, Darlipalli, JSW/ OPGC as Industrialist/ Educationist/ Technologist from the region nominated by State Govt.
10. Two faculty members (amongst Regular Staff) to be nominated by the Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Darlipalli.
2 The delegation of financial powers, duties and responsibilities of the Governing Bodyconstituted will be same as approved by Government vide Order No. 7125/ETET, dated the 3rd December 2013 and No. 7133/ETET, dated the 3rd December 2013.
The above Notification will come into force with immediate effect.
