NOTIFICATION
The 10th February 2025
No. 4085—HFW-MSI-ESTT-0040/2024-H.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Odisha is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Odisha Medical Services (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Dental Surgeons) Rules, 2022, namely :—
1. Short title and commencement :—
(1) These rules may be called the Odisha Medical Services (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Dental Surgeons) Amendment Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their Publication in the Odisha Gazette.
2. In the Odisha Medical Services (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Dental Surgeons) Rules, 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the "said rules''), in Rule 6, after sub-rule (9), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely :—
"(10) The matter relating to direct recruitment by the Commission which is not specified in the Rules will be guided by the Rules of Procedure laid down by the Commission. In case of any important unspecified matter, the Commission in consultation with the Department shall take a decision deemed proper to ensure the smooth and proper functioning of the examination process.
Such decisions shall be final, unless otherwise specified by the subsequent amendment or decisions.''
3. In the said rules, in Rule 7, in sub-rule (1), the proviso to Clause (e) shall be omitted.
