NOTIFICATION

SUBJECT—Modification of the pay structure of the Sr.S.E.S. (Headmasters/Principals) of Special Schools under SSEPD Deptt.
S.R.O. No. 150/2025— In SSEPD Deptt. Resolution No. 6408/SSEPD Deptt., dated the 31st September 2016, the Eligibility Criteria/ Qualification and Salary Structure of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff have been prescribed for the Special Schools for Visually Impaired, Hearing Impaired, Mentally Retarded, Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Autism Spectrum Disorder. In the meanwhile, the proposal for revision of the pay of the Headmasters and Principals of Special Schools (up to Class-X and XII) was under active consideration of the Government.
The Government after careful consideration has been pleased to modify the pay structure of Sr. S.E.S. (Headmaster/Principal) of Special Schools under SSEPD Department from Level-9 to Level-10. The salary of a Headmaster already occupying the post but does not have the proposed qualifications, will continue to draw salary at the existing level.
