NOTIFICATION
The 27th March 2025
S.R.O. No. 194/2025—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Odisha Forest Act, 1972 (Odisha Act 14 of 1972), the State Government do hereby declare that the following land situated in village Jamudiha under Bansapal Tahasil of Keonjhar District mutated and transferred in favour of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Dapartment for raising Compensatory Afforestation thereon against the proposed diversion of 4.412 ha (Fresh Forest land 3.997 ha + Re- diversion/Change in land use of already diverted 0.415 ha) of forest land for construction of Railway line from Naya Bhagirathapur, Meramundali Station to Rungta Mines (RML) Dhenkanal Project site by Rungta Mines Ltd. under Dhenkanal Forest Division, Dist Dhenkanal vide 'Stage-I/in-principle' approval of Government of India, MoEF & CC, Regional Office, Bhubaneswar, Odisha communicated in letter dated the 8th November 2024 under Section 2 of the Van (Sanrakshan Evam Samvardhan) Adhiniyam. 1980, the limits of which are specified below and the area of which is 5.050 ha (12.4784 Ac) shall be a Protected Forest with effect from the date of issue of the Notification and shall be known as "Jamudiha Protected Forest'' :—
