NOTIFICATION
The 27th March 2025
S.R.O. No. 196/2025—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Odisha Forest Act, 1972 (Odisha Act 14 of 1972), the State Government do hereby declare that the following land situated in Village Dandipasi under Ghatagaon Tahasil of Keonjhar District mutated and transferred in favour of Forest, Environment & Climate Change Dapartment for raising Compensatory Afforestation thereon against the proposed non-forestry use of 4.794 ha of forest land including 3.26 ha of forest land along the mine lease boundary in addition to 30.980 ha of forest land already diverted within the mine lease area of 35.774 ha in Baitarani RF of Keonjhar District under Keonjhar Forest Division of Khandabandha Iron Ore Mines of M/s. Sree Metaliks Limited vide in-principle approval of Government of India. MoEF & CC (FC Division), New Delhi communicated in letter dated the 9th October 2024 under Section 2 (1) (ii) of the Van (Sanrakshan Evam Samvardhan) Adhiniyam,1980, the limits of which are specified below and the area of which is 3.26 ha (8.055 Ac) shall be Protected Forest with effect from the date of issue of the Notification and shall be known as "Dandipasi Protected Forest'' :—
