No. 1354-SEC(cid:582)Whereas the Collector, Kendrapara, Keonjhar and Sambalpur have submitted the proposal for by election to the office of Zilla Parishad Members as follows;

Whereas the State Election Commission, Odisha has completed the revision and preparation of Electoral Rolls of aforesaid Zilla Parishad Constituency taking into the Assembly Electoral Roll of 2025;
Now, therefore, the State Election Commission in exercise of powers conferred under Article 243-K of Constitution of India under Section 40 of OZP Act, 1991 and Rule 61 (1) of O.Z.P.E. Rules, 1994 and do hereby appoints the following dates and time for the by-election to be held in respect of Zilla Parishad Member as mentioned above as per following programme.

The model code of conduct issued by the Commission will remain in force in
the concerned Constituency from 20.05.2025 to 24.06.2025.
Form No. 17 need to be submitted to the State Election Commission within 7
days of issue of this notification i.e. by 05.30 P.M. of 28.05.2025 and Form No. 18 to
the concerned Election Officer on before the date and time fixed for scrutiny of
nomination papers i.e. before 11.00 AM of 02.06.2025 by the Political Parties
