No. 2383—COM-PORT-OMB-0006/2024-Com—In exercise of the power conferred by sub- section (1) of Section 105 of the Odisha Maritime Board Act, 2021 (Odisha Act No. 01 of 2022), after careful consideration, Government have been pleased to constitute the State Port Consultative Committee of Odisha Maritime Board with following members :—

2. DC-cum-ACS	Member
3. CEO, Odisha Maritime Board	Member- Secretary
4. Shri Santosh Kumar Mohapatra, I.A.S. (Retd.) Advisor- Ports, Infrastructure, PPP Projects	Member
5. Smt. Malini V. Shankar, I.A.S. (Retd.), Vice- Chancellor, Indian Maritime University, Chennai.	Member
6. Shri Kapil Mohan, I.A.S. (Retd.), Former CEO, Karnataka Maritime Board.	Member
7. Shri Purnendu Misra, Ex-D.G. Shipping	Member
8. Capt. Inderveer Solanki, Domain Expert, Inland Water Transport, Director, NINI.	Member

The functions of the committee :—

* to advise the Board on all general questions and schemes pertaining to the ports, non- nationalized inland water transport and ferries and coastal protection.

* to review the administration of ports, non-nationalized inland water transport and ferries and coastal protection and to suggest measures for improvement; * to suggest measures to remove any dificulty experienced by the Board in its administration of 2 ports. inland water transport and ferries and coastal protection;

* to make suo moto recommendations to the Board in regard to any matter relating to administration of the ports, non- nationalized Inland water transport and ferries and coastal protection, and productive use of non-port land; and

* to report to the State Government or as the case may be, to the Board on such matter as may be referred to it either by the State Government or the Board for its opinion.

ORDER—Ordered that the notification be published in the extraordinary issue of the Odisha Gazette and 100 copies of the notification be furnished to this Department and copy to all Departments of Government/all Heads of the Department.
