The tenders will be opened at 3.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers who are present in the Office of the Additional Director of Agriculture(T&V), Thattanchavady, Puducherry-9.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) as earnest money deposit before submission of tenders in the Office of the Additional Director of Agriculture(T&V), Thattanchavady, Puducherry-9. The earnest money deposit is refundable to the unsuccessful tenderers after the tender is over. Tenders without the earnest money deposit will not be taken into consideration.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount immediately including sales tax and clear the items within 24 hours at his own cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited in full.

6. Sales tax will be charged at the rate applicable.

7. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles will be admitted once the highest tender is accepted.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles during office hours on any working day.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease the usufructs of 1 (one) jack tree, 2 (two) silk cotton trees, 10 (ten) mango trees and 3 (three) tamarind trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-9 for the period up to 31-12-2011.

2. The tender should reach the Office of the Director of Industries and Commerce, Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady-9 on or before 18-5-2011 at 3.15 p.m. The tender will be opened by the Director of Industries and Commerce in his office at 3.30 p.m. on the same day.

3. The intending tenderer may inspect the usufructs trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattachavady, Puducherry at any time during the office hours.

4. The tender should be in whole of rupees only. The tender from those who are in arrears to this office as on 31-3-2011 will not be accepted.

5. (i) The earnest money deposit of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) should be deposited along with the tender. The earnest money deposit will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers.

(ii) The successful bidder should remit the balance bid amount immediately by deducting the earnest money deposit amount.

(iii) A lease deed should be executed and registered within a week from the date of tender sale. Only after registration of the lease agreement the successful bidder would be allowed to enjoy the usufructs.

6. If the tender date i.e., 18-5-2011 happens to be a holiday, the tender should be accepted on the next working day up to the above said time and opened on the same day at the time specified above.
