NOTIFICATION
The Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India has identified Ousteri lake as Wetland in Puducherry Union Territory under "National Wetland Conservation Programme" with a view to promote a holistic and integrated approach for the development, management and conservation of wetlands. Accordingly, the State/Union Territory Government has been asked to prepare a Comprehensive Management Action Plan and also to constitute State Steering Committee under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary.

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to appoint Thiru S. 2. The Lieutenant-Governor is also pleased to order that Thiru Manickadeepan will be a probationer in the Pondicherry Civil Service for a period of two years from the forenoon of 7-4-2011.
3. Thiru S. Manickadeepan shall take the Oath of Allegiance before the Deputy Secretary to Government (Establishment), Chief Secretariat, Puducherry and furnish surety bond in the prescribed pro forma within ten days from the date of this memorandum.
