3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest money deposit. The deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after finalisation of the tenders.

4. The items can be inspected during office hours on any working day.

2. Tenders superscribed as "Tender for the purchase of old newspapers" should be addressed in a sealed cover to the undersigned so as to reach this office on or before 3.00 p.m. of 1-8-2011. The received tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of those tenderers or their representatives who are present at that time.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest money deposit before submitting their tenders.The deposit of the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after the finalisation of the tender.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.

5. If the opening day of the tenders happens to be holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire amount immediately along with the sales tax, if any, and clear all the items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which earnest money deposited, will be forfeited into the Government account. The selected tenderer should make his own arrangement to weigh the newspapers.
