NOTIFICATION

No. 434/PUDU/2012 (1).— In exercise of the powers conferred by

sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (1951 of 43),

the Election Commission hereby directs that the following amendments shall be

made in its Notification N o . 4 3 4 / P U D U / 2 0 08 ( 1 ), dated 17-6-2008 as amended

from time to time, relating to the appointment of Assistant Returning Officer of the

Parliamentary Constituency in the Union territory of Puducherry, namely:-

In the said notification, existing entry "Labour Commissioner, ERO-III"

shall be substituted by the entry "Deputy Labour Commissioner, ERO-III".

to the appointment of Returning Officer in the Assembly Constituency of Puducherry,

namely:-

In the column (2) of the Table appended to the said notification, existing

In the column (2) of the Table appended to the said notification, existing entry "Labour Commissioner" against 7. Kadhirgamam, 8. Indira Nagar and 9. Thattanchavady Assembly Constituencies as shown in column (1), shall be substituted by the entry "Deputy Labour Commissioner".
