The following Order of the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, dated 31st July 2012 is published for general information :—
"ORDER
No. 56/CA-LG./2012.— In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 6(2) of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963, I, Dr. Iqbal Singh, Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, hereby prorogue the Puducherry Legislative Assembly which was adjourned sine die at the conclusion of its sitting on 31st July 2012.
