The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to make

Old Age Persons and Destitutes Pension Rules, 2011 notified in
G. O . M s . N o . 4 2 / 2 0 11-Wel.(SW- I V ) , d a t e d 2 3 - 1 2 - 2 0 11 o f t h e
Chief Secretariat (Welfare), Puducherry in the Extraordinary Gazette
No. 3, dated 2nd January 2012 of the Gazette of Puducherry, namely:—

AMENDMENT
1. Amendment of rule 5.— In the said rules, in sub-rule (4) in
the clause (vi) after the word "Legislative Assembly" the following
may be included:—
"A Certificate of identification as Appendix-III shall be signed by a
Gazetted Officer of the Central Government/Government of Puducherry/
Manager of a recognised poor house or similar recognised charitable
institutions/Special Officer or Commissioner of a Municipality or a
Commune Panchayat/Chairman of a Municipal Council or a Commune
Panchayat/Member of Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha/Legislative Assembly."
2. Amendment of forms.— In the said rules—
in Form-I
after Appendix-II, Appendix-III may be included as follows :
