In exercise of the powers conferred under section 30 of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (Central Act 10 of 1994) read with Letter F.No. U.11030/13/ 2012-UTL, dated 17-1-2013 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi and with the concurrence of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Madras, His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry has been pleased to appoint the Judicial Offices of the Court of Sessions mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to be the Human Rights Court for the purpose of providing speedy trial of offences arising out of violation of human rights under the said Act for the corresponding areas mentioned in column (4) of the said Table, namely:– LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 194 194 TABLE
