CHIEF SECRETARIAT ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS WING (G.O. MS. NO. 4/2013/A2/ARW, dated 26th June 2013) NOTIFICATION Approval of His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is hereby accorded to amend the scheme towards the grant of Chief Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 3/2010/A2/ARW, dated 25th July 2010 of Administrative Reforms Wing, Chief Secretariat, Puducherry and published in the Official Gazette No. 34, dated 24th August 2010 and amendment notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 2/2012/A2/ARW, dated 20th June 2012 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 26, dated 22nd June 2012, namely :— [ 127 ]

AMENDMENT

In the Annexure to the said Government order:–

(i) In para 5, for the words and figures "30th April", the

words and figures "30th June" shall be substituted.

(ii) The Expert Committee shown at para 8, shall be deleted.

(iii) The composition of the Empowered Committee shown at

para 9, may be modified as follows:

Empowered Committee

1. Chief Secretary to Government . . Chairman

of Puducherry.

2. Secretary to Government (Finance) . . Member

3. Secretary (Law)

. . Member

4. The Chairperson -IIPA Puducherry Chapter . . Member

5. Additional Secretary/Joint Secretary, ARW. . Member-

Secretary.

Note: (1) The Empowered Committee may co-opt one more

member, at their discretion, if considered necessary.

Note: (2) The Empowered Committee may constitute sub-committees from among the members to scrutinise and shortlist nominations. In case, Member of the Empowered Committee is one of the award nominee, then Chairperson may co-opt another official in equivalent rank in lieu thereof.
