Application form : Prescribed application forms/prospectus can be obtained from the Principals of Government Industrial Training Institutes concerned at Puducherry/Karaikal/Mahe/Yanam from 25-6-2013 on payment of ` 10 (Rupees ten only) by remitting money order or in person at these Institutes. Candidates desirous of receiving the application by post should send a requisition letter with a self-addressed envelope of size 23 x 10 cm. with ` 10 postage stamp affixed thereon along with the money order receipt (postal order shall not be accepted).
Application forms complete in all respects together with the attested copies of the relevant certificates should be submitted to the Principal, Government Industrial Training Institutes concerned at Puducherry/Karaikal/ Mahe/Yanam, so as to reach them not later than 5.00 p.m. on 16-7-2013.
Incomplete and belated applications shall be summarily rejected without any intimation.

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab., dated 23-5-1991 of the Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry for adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry shall submit the award within 3 months from the date of issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with r u l e 1 0 - B o f t h e I n d u s t r i a l D i s p u t e s ( C e n t r a l ) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliances and witnesses to the Labour Court, Puducherry within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

(a) Whether the dispute raised by Hindustan Unilever Workers' Union against the management of M/s. Hindustan Unilever Limited, Detergent Factory ( i) to not effect any deductions from the wages payable to the employees in future, (ii) continue to pay the incentive as agreed in the settlement, dated 10-5-2007 till the same is replaced by another settlement and (iii) to refund the amount illegally deducted from the employees along with interest are justified or not?
(b) If justified, to what relief, the union workmen are entitled to ?
(c) To compute the relief, if any, awarded in terms of money, if it can be so computed?

4. The interested tenderers should deposit an earnest money deposit of ` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) in cash along with tender. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after the tenders are opened and successful tender has been selected.
5. The intending tenderers may inspect the said articles during office hours on any working day with the permission of the undersigned.
6. The undersigned reserves the right either to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason. Contravention of the rules of the tender notice will result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.
7. The successful tenderer shall arrange to weigh the old newspapers, pay the cost thereof along with the applicable sales tax and remove the old newspapers within 24 hours from the time of the tender sale is over.

8. On failure of the arrangement to remove the old newspapers, the earnest money deposit paid will be forfeited. Also for the old newspapers which has been disposed off after the receipt of the payment. This department will not be responsible for lose or shortage or damage.
9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Commercial Tax Officer will be final.

2. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed with the words "Tender for the purchase of old newspapers" should be addressed to the Commercial Tax Officer, Karaikal so as to reach this office on or before 3.00 p.m. on 17-7-2013 and the tender will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of tenderers. If the day opening for tender happen to be a holiday for any reason the tender will be opened by the same time on the next working day.
