GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY
DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Puducherry Excise Act, 1970 (No. 12 of 1970), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry hereby makes the following amendment to the Revenue Department's notification issued under S. O. No. 24, dated 5th July 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 83, dated 5th July 1974, namely:–

AMENDMENT
(i) In the Schedule appended to the said notification, for the entries under column (3) against serial number 1, the following words and figures shall be substituted:–
"(a) Cheap brands whose declared price per . . ` 63.00
case is up to ` 399.
(b) Ordinary brands whose declared price . . ` 73.00
per case is between ` 400 to ` 599.
(c) Medium and premium brands whose . . ` 80.00".

(ii) In the Schedule appended to the said notification, in the entries under column (2) and (3) against serial number 3, the following shall be substituted:–
