GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY FINANCE DEPARTMENT (G.O. M S. N O. 28/F2/2013, dated 23rd August 2013) NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of s e c t i o n 7 5 o f t h e P u d u c h e r r y Va l u e A d d e d Ta x A c t , 2 0 0 7 (Act No. 9 of 2007) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest is pleased to amend the Schedules to the said Act, namely :— [ 229 ]

AMENDMENT

1. In the First Schedule, for serial number 12-A and the entries

relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"12-A. Chemical fertilisers, pesticides, insecticides and

weedicides used for agricultural purpose".

2. In the Third Schedule, in Part–A, for serial number 24 and the

entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"24. Chemical fertilisers, rodenticides, pesticides, insecticides

and weedicides".

3. This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
