Proclamation under section 8 (2) (a) of the Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social

Activities Act, 2008 and under section 82 of Cr.P.C requiring the appearance

of a detenu under Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, 2008

NOTIFICATION

W h e r e a s , a d e t e n t i o n or d e r w a s i s s u e d a g a i n s t T h i r u C h o z h a n , S/o. Ramachandiran, North Vaikkal Street, Pitchaiveeranpet, Puducherry vide Order No. l6/DM/RO/D2/PPASAA/2013, dated 3-10-2013 under the provisions of Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, 2008 (Act No. 10 of 2010) and the said detention order had also been approved by the Government of Puducherry within the stipulated period of 12 days as prescribed in the said Act vide G.O. Ms. No. 55, dated 10-10-2013 of Home Department, Puducherry;

And whereas, it is brought to the knowledge of the undersigned that the detention order against Thiru Chozhan has not been executed by the police authorities so far;

And whereas, it has been shown to my satisfaction that the detenu Thiru Chozhan has absconded or concealing himself and evading his arrest;

Therefore, proclamation is hereby made that the said detenu Thiru Chozhan, S/o. Ramachandiran, North Vaikkal Street, Pitchaiveeranpet, Puducherry is required to appear before the undersigned at I Floor, Revenue Complex, Kamaraj Salai, Saram, Puducherry-605 013, to answer the report of the Station House Officer, Mettupalayam Police Station, Puducherry on the 20th day of December 2013.
