Further, as provided in the scheme indemnity claims will be settled only on the basis of yield data furnished by the Government of Puducherry based on requisite number of Crop Cutting Experiments (CCEs) conducted under General Crop Estimation Survey (GCES).

GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY 3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) by cash as earnest money deposit while submitting their sealed tenders. The earnest money deposit would be returned to the unsuccessful tenderers after finalising the rates.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected.
5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender in part or whole without assigning any reasons thereof. The old newspapers and fallen trees may be inspected during office hours.
6. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount including sales tax immediately and clear the items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit amount will be forfeited.
7. The successful tenderer cannot claim for the quantity and quality of the old newspapers and fallen trees after the auction is over.
8. If the successful tenderer do not pay the full amount including sales tax within the specified time, auction will be passed on to the second highest tenderer forfeiting the earnest money deposit amount.
9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.
