Proclamation under section 8 (2) (a) of the Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social
Activities Act, 2008 and under section 82 of Cr.P.C requiring the appearance of
absconding person under Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, 2008
NOTIFICATION
Whereas, a detention order was issued against Thiru Nithi @ Nithiyanantham, S/o. Krishnaraj, No. 32, Main Road, Thirukanji, Mangalam, Puducherry vide Order No. 30/DM/RO/D2/PPASAA/2013, dated 7-11-2013 under the provisions of Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, 2008 (Act No. 10 of 2010) and the said detention order had also been approved by the Government of Puducherry within the stipulated period of 12 days as prescribed in the said Act vide G.O. Ms. No. 77, dated 18-11-2013 of Home Department, Puducherry;
LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 910 910And whereas, the Station House Officer, Mangalam Police Station, Puducherry has reported that from the date of issue of detention order, the abovesaid person is found absconded and is evading the execution of the said detention order and his whereabouts are not known and all necessary efforts were taken by Station House Officer, Mangalam Police Station, Puducherry to secure and detain Thiru Nithi @ Nithiyanantham under the abovesaid detention order, but, still he is found absconding, concealing himself and evading his arrest and efforts are being continued to execute the detention order made against him.
And whereas, it has been shown to my satisfaction that Thiru Nithi @ Nithiyanantham has absconded or concealing himself and evading his arrest;
Therefore, proclamation is hereby made that the said absconding person Thiru Nithi @ Nithiyanantham, S/o. Krishnaraj, No. 32, Main Road, Thirukanji, Mangalam, Puducherry is ordered to appear before the undersigned at I Floor, Revenue Complex, Kamaraj Salai, Saram, Puducherry-605 013, to answer the report of the Station House Officer, Mangalam Police Station, Puducherry on the 7th day of January 2014.
