2. Whereas, the Pulse Polio Immunization Programme continues to be in existence and the Government of India has decided to implement/conduct the programme effectively. Accordingly, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to extend the term of the following committees for the proper conduct of Pulse Polio Immunization Programme in the Union territory of Puducherry as below:

The Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to constitute a steering committee in the Union territory of Puducherry to regulate the Food Safety and Standards Act, discuss the critical issues, make decisions and guide the department for the effective implementation of the Act.
