DECLARATION

Under section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894), the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry hereby declares that the lands specified in the Schedule below and measuring an extent of 0-28-78 Ha. be the same a little more or less, are needed for a public purpose viz., for the establishment of 110/22 KV Sub-station at Lawspet in Saram Revenue Village. Under sections 3 and 7 of the said Act, the Deputy Collector (Revenue)-cum-Land Acquisition Officer (North), Puducherry is appointed to perform the functions of the Collector under the said Act and directed to take order for the acquisition of the said lands. Under sub- section (1) of section 17 of the Act, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry further directs that the possession of the following lands may be taken on the expiry of 15 days after the date of publication of notice mentioned in section 9(1) of the Act. A plan of the lands is kept in the Office of the Deputy Collector (Revenue)-cum- Land Acquisition Officer (North), Puducherry and it may be inspected at any time during the office hours.
