NOTIFICATION

No. 434/PUDU/2014 (1):— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act,1951 (43 of 1951) the Election Commission hereby makes the following further amendment in its Notification No. 434/PUDU/2008 (l), dated 17-6-2008 as amended from time to time relating to the appointment of Assistant Returning Officer in the Parliamentary Constituency, namely:—

In the said Notification,

(1) the existing entry at Serial Number 4 "Deputy Labour Commissioner ERO-III" shall be substituted by the entry "Registrar of Co-operative Societies ERO-III".

(2) the existing entry at Serial Number 7 "Registrar of Co-operative Societies ERO-VI" shall be substituted by the entry "Deputy Labour Commissioner ERO-VI".

(3) the existing entry at Serial Number 11 "Deputy Director of Civil Supplies, Karaikal ERO-X" shall be substituted by the entry "Deputy Collector (Revenue), Karaikal ERO-X".

(4) the existing entry at Serial Number 10 "Deputy Collector (Revenue), Karaikal ERO-IX" shall be substituted by the entry "Deputy Director of Civil Supplies, Karaikal ERO-IX".

No. 434/PUDU/2014 (2):— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Representation of the People Act, 195l (43 of 195l), the Election Commission hereby makes the following further amendment in its Notification No. 434/PUDU/2008 (2), dated 17-6-2008 as amended from time to time relating to the appointment of Returning Officer in the Assembly Constituency of Puducherry, namely:-

In the column (2) of the Table appended to the said notification,

(1) existing entry "Deputy Labour Commissioner" against 7. Kadhirgamam, 8. Indira Nagar and 9. Thattachavady Assembly Constituencies as shown in column (1), shall be substituted by the entry "Registrar of Co-operative Societies".

(2) existing entry "Registrar of Co-operative Societies" against 15. Oupalam, 16. Orleampeth and 18. Mudaliarpet Assembly Constituencies as shown in column (1), shall be substituted by the entry "Deputy Labour Commissioner".

(4) existing entry "Deputy Collector (Revenue), Karaikal" against 24. Nedungadu (SC) and 25. Thirunallar Assembly Constituencies as shown in column (1), shall be substituted by the entry "Deputy Director of Civil Supplies, Karaikal".
