NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an industrial dispute has been raised by Thiru Jayan, T, Mahe against the management o f M / s . Mahe Transport Co-operative Society Limited, Mahe, over non-payment of legal benefits such as compensation for the period of service, gratuity, etc., in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated vide G.O.Ms. No. 20/91/Lab., dated 23-5-1991 of the Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry for adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry shall submit the award within 3 months from th e d a t e of issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court, Puducherry within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are invited for the disposal of old newspapers and magazines (both Tamil and English) in the Office of the Inspector-General of Police, Puducherry on an annual basis i.e., from 1-1-2014 to 31-12-2014.
2. The rates should be quoted for each item as follows:

The tenders in sealed cover should be described as "Tender for the purchase of old newspapers and m a g a z i n e s " o n i n a n n u a l b a s i s f r o m 1 - 1 - 2 0 1 4 t o 31-12-2014" addressed and sent to the Superintendent of Police (HQ), Puducherry-605 001 so as to reach on or before 27-3-2014 at 12.00 hours or shoud be dropped into the tender box placed at Office of the Superintendent of Police (HQ) of this department before the due date mentioned above. The tenders will be opened on 27-3-2014 at 17.00 hours in the presence of available tenderers.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest money of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) through crossed demand draft before submission of the tenders in the Chief Stores of Police Department located at Gorimedu, Puducherry and obtain temporary receipt for it. The earnest money deposited by the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after the tenders are opened and decided and those of the successful tenderer will be converted into security deposit and to be kept in Government account as per procedure.
