2. The tenders in plain paper should be sealed and addressed to the Deputy Inspector of Schools, Zone-I, Directorate of School Education, Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as "Tender for the purchase of old condemned furniture items" and sent to reach the undersigned on or before 26-6-2014 at 4.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers who are present.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender sale is over.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will be summarily rejected.

Sathish, an ex-trainee of Government Industrial Training Institute (Men), Karaikal in the trade of Auto Rickshaw and Four Wheeler Driving Mechanism for the period from September 2003 to August 2004 is reported to have been lost due to fire accident and it is proposed to issue duplicate certificate to the candidate.

8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles will be admitted once the tender is admitted.
9. VAT at the rate applicable will be charged @ 10%.
