NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 read with section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry hereby appoints the officers mentioned under column (2) of the Table below as Special Executive Magistrates with effect from the date of the notification and up to the date of completion of election process in connection with the General Elections to Lok Sabha, 2014, in respect of the area mentioned against the corresponding entry under columns (3) of the said Table and confers on them all the powers as an Executive Magistrate under the said Code.
