1 year The educational qualifications, age, reservation and other requirements for admission are given in the prospectus.

Application form : Prescribed application forms/prospectus can be obtained from the Principals of Government Industrial Training Institutes concerned at Puducherry/Karaikal/Mahe and Yanam from 30-6-2014 on payment of ` 10 (Rupees ten only) by remitting money order or in person at these Institutes. Candidates desirous of receiving the application by post should send a requisition letter with a self-addressed envelope of size 23 x 10 cm. with ` 10 postage stamp affixed thereon along with the money order receipt (postal order shall not be accepted).

Application forms complete in all respects together with the attested copies of the relevant certificates should be submitted to the Principals, Government Industrial Training Institutes concerned at Puducherry/Karaikal/ Mahe/Yanam, so as to reach them not later than 5.00 p.m. on 16-7-2014.

Incomplete and belated applications shall be summarily rejected without any intimation.

Applications received from other State candidates shall not be entertained.

The draft of the following Area Scheme as appended in Annexure-I and Annexure-II in order to draw up a comprehensive scheme for introducing the operation of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) in the Union territory of Puducherry is hereby published as required under section 99 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft Area Scheme will be taken up for consideration by the Government on the expiry of 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.

The Department of Electricity, Union territory of Puducherry invites application from qualified persons for consideration of appointment for the post of Member in Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) for Electricity Department for a period of 3 years. The candidate shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of appointment or till he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier and should possess the following qualifications.

Member shall be having at least 15 years of experience in accounts or revenue and not less than 5 years of experience of commercial matters in power sector on a post not below the rank/equivalent to the post of Executive Engineer of the licensee.

Whereas, the said amount is payable to the legal dependants of Shri Murugan, S/o. Ezhumalai, who met with fatal accident arising out of and in the course of his employment under the aforesaid employer in their JIPMER premises in Puducherry;

And whereas, E. Muniammal, W/o. Ezhumalai along with her husband Thiru Ezhumalai with her minor son Thiru Kumara Velu and with her minor daughter Theivanai, residing at No. 105, Kennedy Street, Kamaraj Nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry-6 appeared before this court on 2-7-2014 and deposed an oath that they are the only dependants at the time of death of the workman Thiru E.
