Whereas, the Government of Puducherry vide G. O. Ms. No. 41, dated 5-8-2003 of Home Department has instituted a trophy namely the Chief Secretary's Police Trophy for Best Police Station to be awarded every year and to be presented by the Hon'ble Chief Minister during the Independence Day celebration;

It is hereby notified that the original S.S.L.C. Mark Certificate bearing Register No. 1762676 of April 2012 in respect of K. Tamizhselvan, an ex-pupil of Sri Sampourna Vidyalayam, Villianur is reported to have been lost and beyond the scope of recovery, it is proposed to issue a duplicate certificate. If the original certificate is to be found by anybody, it should be sent to the Director of Government Examinations, Chennai-6 for cancellation, as it is no longer valid.

GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY 2. And whereas, the committee headed by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police has forwarded the recommendation for the Best Police Station to the Inspector-General of Police. Based on the recommendation, Inspector-General of Police has selected the Grand Bazaar Police Station, Puducherry for the award of the Chief Secretary's Police Trophy for the Best Police Station for the year 2013;
3. Now, the selection of the Grand Bazaar Police Station, Puducherry made by the Inspector-General of Police is accepted by the Government and accordingly the Grand Bazaar Police Station, Puducherry is awarded the Chief Secretary's Police Trophy for Best Police Station for the year 2013, which will be presented by the Hon'ble Chief Minister on the occasion of the Independence Day 2014.

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are invited by the undersigned item-wise for the purchase of the following items of this division office as detailed below.

Tenders superscribed as "Tender for purchase of old newspapers (Tamil and English and old rules books)" should be addressed to the undersigned so as to reach this office on or before 5-9-2014 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened at 4.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers who are present at that time in the chamber of the undersigned.
3. The intending tenderers should remit a sum of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) as earnest money deposit in cash. The same will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers after finalisation of tender. The tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.
4. The intending tenderers may inspect the old newspapers/old rules books during the office hours on any working day with the permission of the undersigned.

No claim on the quality/quantity will be admitted once the tender is finalised.
