AMENDMENT
The paragraph No. 7 of the G.O. Ms. No.13, dated 13-11-2013 of Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Puducherry is hereby amended as follows :
"7. Initial Seed Money would be provided for the smooth establishment and functioning of the said Society by way of contribution from Government of India. Further fund, if any shall be provided by the Union Territory, which is subject to the following conditions:–
(i) The Seed Money shall be deposited as a fixed deposit in the branch of a Nationalised Bank having locational advantage to the Society.
(ii) Interest accrued on the fixed deposit shall be utilised only for operating expenses of the PDeGS.
(iii) Necessary saving account, if required, to deposit the "Seed Money" shall be opened jointly in the name of the Chairman and Member-Secretary of PDeGS.
(iv) All payments disbursed from the interest earned from the fixed deposit shall be made to the concerned through ECS only.
(v) Change of branch, cancellation of fixed deposit shall be made with the clearance of Finance Department (Ways and Means).
(vi) Any change in the guidelines prescribed in the maintaining of Seed Money shall be reported to Finance Department (Ways and Means) for issue of further orders by Government.
(vii) Funds under the account shall be audited by the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries, Puducherry.
(viii) All receipts like fees, convenience charges, etc., shall be credited into Government Account only i.e. the Head of Account "0070 Other Administrative Services - 60 Other Services - 800 Other Receipts."
2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department (Ways and Means) vide I.D. No.19-2/ FD (W&M)/2014, dated 4-7-2014 and Finance Department U.O. note No. 1717/2014-15/F4, dated 4-8-2014.
