The following Order of the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, dated 26th September 2014 is published for general information :—
"ORDER
No. 56/CA-LG/2014.— In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 6 (2) (a) of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963, I, Lt. Gen. Ajay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd.), Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, hereby prorogue the Puducherry Legislative Assembly, which was adjourned sine die at the conclusion of its sitting on 26th September 2014.
