TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are invited by the undersigned item-wise for the sale of the following items of this Division office as detailed below

Rate per

kilogram (1) Old Tamil newspapers . . ` (2) Old English newspapers . . ` (3) Old rules books . . ` 2. Tenders superscribed as 'Tender for purchase of old newspapers (Tamil and English) and old rules books' should be addressed to the undersigned so as to reach this office on or before 10-12-2014 by 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened at 4.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers who are present at that time in the Chamber of the undersigned.

3. The intending tenderers should remit a sum of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) as earnest money deposit in cash. The same will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers after finalisation of the tender.

The tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers may inspect the old newspapers/old rules books during office hours on any working day with the permission of the undersigned.

5. The selected tenderer should make his own arrangement for weighing and should pay the total cost of all the old newspapers and rules books plus sales tax immediately and remove the same at his own expenses within 24 hours, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. No claim on the quality/ quantity will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or to postpone the tender without assigning any reason thereof.

7. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be final.

I , Sinnaponnu, wife o f Ganesan, daughter of Ramasamy, aged 55 years, Indian, Hindu, residing at No. 29, South Street, North Vanjore, T.R. Pattinam, Karaikal District and Munisifi, do hereby solemnly affirm and state as follows:

1. That I was born on 8-5-1959 at T.R. Pattinam to my parents Ramasamy and Rethinam and I was named as 'Sinnaponnu' by my parents. But, my birth was inadvertently omitted to be registered. Hence, in my son Jambukesan's Birth Certificate bearing Registration No. T /1995/00077 and in my son Jambukesan's Transfer Certificate, dated 15-6-2010 issued by Government Higher Secondary School, T.R. Pattinam, my name is mentioned as 'Sinnaponnu'.

2. That I am also called and known by the names 'Sinnapponnou', '➢' and ' ▪ ➢' by my friends and relatives. Hence, in my Transfer Certificate, dated 7-10-2014 issued by Government Primary School, North Vanjore, T.R. Pattinam, my name is mentioned as 'Sinnapponnou'. In my Electoral Identity Card bearing No. PY/01/025/072351, my name is mentioned as '➢'. In my Family Ration Card bearing No. 436274, my name is mentioned as '▪ ➢'.

3. T hat the names referred as 'Sinnaponnu', 'Sinnapponnou', '➢' and ' ▪ ➢' in the abovementioned documents are referring and denoting one and the same person i.e., myself only.

4. That I do declare that I will be hereinafter called and kno wn b y the name 'G. ➢' a n d hence my name will als o b e her einafter r efer red as 'G. ➢' in my all official records.

5. I further declare that the facts stated herein above are true and correct to the best of my knowledge, belief and information and nothing material has been concealed thereon. Hence, this affidavit may please be taken as a valid proof in respect of my name.
