NOTIFICATION
In exercise o f the p ower s conferred by sub-section ( 1) o f section 3 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Central Act 49 of 1988) read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs notification issued in S.O.No. 125(E), dated 14th February 1989, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry on the recommendations of the High Court, Madras is pleased to appoint Thiru P.Velmurugan, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Puducherry as Special Judge for the purpose of the said Act and for the said purpose hereby makes the following amendment to the notification issued under G.O. Ms. No. 1, d a ted 2 4 th J u ly 2 0 0 1 o f the Co n fid e ntia l a nd C ab in et Depar tment (Chief Vigilance Office), Puducherry and published in Part-I of the Extraordinary Gazette No.106, dated 26th July 2001, namely:-
LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 640 640 AMENDMENTIn the Table to the said notification, for the existing entries under column (2) against serial number 1, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
Thiru P. Velmurugan,
Principal District and Sessions Judge,
Puducherry.
2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 24-6-2014.

N o . 1 2 5 ( E ) , d a t e d 1 4 t h F e b r u a r y 1 9 8 9 , t h e L i e u t e n a n t -G o v e r n o r, P u d u c h e r r y o n t h e recommendations of the High Court, Madras is pleased to appoint Thiru N.Vaithiyanathan, District and Sessions Judge, Karaikal as Special Judge for Karaikal region for the purpose of the said Act and for the said purpose hereby makes the following amendment to the notification issued under G.O. Ms. No. 1, dated 24th July 2001 of the Confidential and Cabinet Department (Chief Vigilance Office), Puducherry and published in Part- I of the Extraordinary Gazette No. 106, dated 26th July 2001, namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the Table to the said notification, for the existing entries under column (2) against serial number 2, the following shall be substituted, namely:–
Thiru N.Vaithiyanathan,
District and Sessions Judge,
Karaikal.
2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 19-6-2013.
