NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 109 of the Puducherry Municipalities Act, 1973, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to appoint the following officers for the Mahe Municipality and Yanam Municipality, to exercise all the powers and perform the functions and duties conferred and imposed upon the Municipal Councils, Standing Committee or other Committees of the Municipal Councils, and the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and other authorities by or under the provisions of the said Act or any other law for the time being in force:

Regional Administrator, Mahe Mahe Municipality
Regional Administrator, Yanam Yanam Municipality
2. The above-mentioned officers shall hold their office till the new Municipal Councils are reconstituted after the conduct of civic elections to the
Municipalities.
3. The above-mentioned officers shall be paid a fee of ` 500 per month from the respective Municipal fund for their services to be rendered for the respective Municipality.
