(i) These rules may be called the Pondicherry Freedom Fighters
Pension (Amendment) Rules, 2014.
(ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect
from 1-12-2014.
Amendment of rule 5.— In the Pondicherry Freedom Fighters
Pension Rules, 1970 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) in rule 5,
for the letters and figures "Rs. 5,000", the symbol and figures "` 7,000",
shall be substituted.
Amendment of rule 6.— (1) In the said rules, in rule 6, for the letters
and figures "Rs. 5,000", the symbol and figures "` 7,000", shall be
substituted.
